This is an adorable, super friendly, young girl ! She followed some children riding their bikes and playing. She never found her way back home. "Stray Dog" wondered around the neighborhood, eating cat food set out and drinking from bird baths. She also lifted the gate to a fenced in yard and let her friends out to play ! "Stray Dog" became a neighborhood dog with different people setting out food. Flyers were created, posted, and put in mail boxes. "Found" ad was placed in the newspaper. Finally, she was picked by animal control. This is a HIGH KILL shelter. The neighbors pooled their money and rescued Daisy ! Now one neighbor has her in a 15 x 15 pen with romps in the yard a few hours a day. She needs her own big yard, kids, and love ! Daisy will fetch a toy and play tug-a-war. She walks on lead, does not jump up on people, and will "sit" for you. She is on the calm, submissive side and gets along with everyone. She acts like she has lived in a house before as she goes right on in. She does not climb fences nor dig under. When she was lonely, she would try to get IN a fence to play with other dogs! Daisy has a pretty white strip under her neck and blaze on her chest. Pretty spotted socks on the front legs, and white tipped tail. 23 - 24 inches high, weighs about 55 pounds. We guess her age is about 8 to 9 months old. She has the sparkling white teeth of a Puppy ! Daisy is a great dog, and is very sweet and deserves a good family and home.
