I am a retired secondary math teacher offering math tutoring services for students from 3rd grade to college. Subjects tutored are elementary math, middle school math, prealgebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, and precalculus. I tutor college remedial math, algebra, precalculus and ua calculus 121. I am currently tutoring mostly high school and college students. Usually, I tutor at the Tuscaloosa Public Library but sometimes can commute to the home of a student. My strong point is easy to understand explanations. When I was teaching I was nominated over 50 times for Who's Who Among American Teachers which is an award chosen by students. I love to help students that have difficulty with math. I am a trained professional, not someone that just took the class one time. I also do group tutoring (several students in the same subject) which is much cheaper.
